International Women’s Day Celebration – “Give to Gain”

The Women Empowerment Cell of SCS First Grade College celebrated International Women’s Day on March 9, 2026, at the Atrium, A-Block, based on the theme “Give to Gain.” The programme was presided over by Mr. U. K. Khalid, Administrative Officer, SCS Group of Institutions. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Aruna Nagaraj, President, Mangala Mahila Mandali, Urwa, Mangaluru, and Guest of Honour Ms. Jhansi, Manager, Sorake Builders, along with Principal Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan.

A special highlight of the event was the unveiling of the “Wall of Women Achievers”, created by students to celebrate inspiring women. The programme also included the felicitation of local women achievers and recognition of the institution’s housekeeping staff, appreciating their dedication and contribution.

The celebration concluded with a Pledge of Equality, reinforcing the spirit of empowerment, appreciation, and collective support among women.
