REPORT ON ECO CLUB

On June 5, 2025, a thoughtful initiative titled “Cultivating Green Futures: Plant Pots for Students” was organized to mark World Environment Day. The event was graced by Principal Dr. Kabbinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj, who praised the initiative and stressed the importance of fostering environmental responsibility among students. Coordinated by Ms. Harshitha (Department of Hindi) and Ms. Raksha (Department of BCA) under the Eco Club, the program involved distributing potted plants to students across departments. This act promoted hands-on environmental care and daily ecological mindfulness.

Students were encouraged to nurture their plants, helping to build sustainable habits and a sense of personal accountability. The initiative also aimed to support student well-being by offering benefits such as stress relief, enhanced focus, and improved indoor air quality. To maintain engagement, follow-up sessions were conducted with plant care tips and growth tracking activities. The initiative successfully transformed a symbolic event into a lasting environmental movement within the campus.
