Industrial Visit – New Mangalore Port Authority

The Department of Business Administration organized an industrial visit to New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), Panambur, Mangaluru on April 22, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. to provide students with practical exposure to port operations and logistics management.
During the visit, Mr. Sukumar (Traffic Department) and Mr. Roshan (Marine Department) briefed students on cargo handling, berth allocation, customs clearance processes, and the role of C&F agents. Students also gained insights into the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) used for monitoring vessel movements.
The visit offered valuable industry exposure, enhancing students’ understanding of maritime trade and logistics operations.
