In global cultural history, Indian women serve as a model for the entire world. Their compassion, empathy, kindness, love, family-oriented thinking, and maternal instinct are all values of the global heritage. For these values to be more firmly established worldwide, the social perspective on women needs to evolve further, opined renowned writer Prof.

Bhuvaneshwari Hegde.

She was speaking at the inauguration of the Women’s Cell at S.C.S. First Grade College in Mangaluru.

As a guest speaker, the institution’s administrative officer Mr. U.K. Khalid spoke about the unique contribution of Indian women in the international success stories of women.

The program was presided over by Dr. Kabbinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj, Principal, SCS First Grade College, Mangaluru.

Among those present at the event were Prof. Rajaram, Principal, S.C.S. Pre-University College, Mrs. Vinaya D’Souza, Principal, S.C.S. Pre-School, Prof. Varsha V, Coordinator of the Women’s Cell and student coordinator Ms. Ashwini.

Prof. Akshatha delivered the welcome address. Ms. Sushma of III B.Com recited the prayer. Prof. Bhavana introduced the guests. Ms. Ashwini proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Joylin of II B.Sc (AVE) mastered the ceremony.
