Vibrant Sports Extravaganza at SCS First Grade College

From May 20th to May 23rd, 2024, SCS First Grade College came alive with the spirit of competition and camaraderie during a dynamic sports fest organized by the SCS Sports Club. This multi-day event brought together students and faculty to celebrate athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit through a diverse array of sports activities.
Indoor Events:
- Carrom: Both boys and girls participated enthusiastically, showcasing their precision and strategic thinking in this classic board game.
- Chess: The chess competition highlighted the intellectual prowess of our students, with intense matches that displayed exceptional strategic depth.
Outdoor Events:
- Volleyball: Teams competed fiercely on the court, demonstrating outstanding teamwork and athletic skills in this high-energy game.
- Kabaddi: Boys participated in an intense competition, exhibiting strength, agility, and tactical acumen.
- Throwball: The girls’ teams brought energy and enthusiasm to the field, displaying excellent coordination and sportsmanship.
- Tug-of-War: This event tested strength and unity, featuring separate competitions for boys and girls. A special tug-of-war event for faculty members added an extra layer of fun and camaraderie among staff and students alike.
The sports fest was a resounding success, highlighting the importance of physical fitness and healthy competition. It fostered a spirited environment where students and faculty could bond over shared athletic pursuits, creating lasting memories and strengthening the sense of community within the college.
