The camp was inaugurated by a ceremony attended by Ms. Samrudhi from the KMC Blood Bank, who served as the chief guest. Dr. Kabbinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj, the principal of SCS First Grade College, along with Youth Red Cross Coordinators Prof. Charan Raj and Prof. Roopa, and student coordinator Bhagyashree, played instrumental roles in the organization and success of the event. Their leadership underscored the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of community responsibility and altruism among students.
The blood donation drive was well-received, with approximately 40 individuals including students, faculty, and staff members participating. Their contributions significantly bolstered local blood supplies, directly benefiting those in urgent need of transfusions.
This initiative not only replenishes essential blood stocks but also serves as an educational platform, raising awareness about the importance of regular blood donations. It is initiatives like these that empower communities, save countless lives, and foster a sense of solidarity and responsibility among young adults.
SCS First Grade College and KMC Hospital extend their heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their generous donations and commend their spirit of community service.
